Ideally something very like an Albin 25 or Independent Shipwrights IS25.
I don't want anything fancy or post Y2K. If you have air conditioning, central vacuum, or a dishwasher, I am happy for you, but that is not what I want. The boat I want will not have more than 100hp and will not use more than a gallon an hour of diesel to run its inboard engine at hull speed, which is as fast as I desire. It will have a displacement hull or near as dammit, its weight will probably not exceed 6000lbs and its beam will be 9 feet or thereabouts, or at least it will not look so broad as to attract the attention of the authorities when on the highway. Its hull will be constructed of solid, uncored fibreglass. It will have a sturdy trailer with which it will have a good rapport, and neither boat nor trailer will be a major project. It will be equipped practically for use in occasionally brisk conditions, and will have comfortable accommodation for two.
It will be within easy hauling radius of southern BC.
There, that's not much to ask, is it?
PM or post please.
