Is that a 12v or 24v alternator?

Is the 160AH alternator mounted with its own dedicated serpentine belt? Seems like a good setup if one has the space since it minimizes engine heat affecting the alternator.

Thank you for the info.

The graphic is nice. We have talked about doing something similar so it is nice to see some examples.

Wow, this is getting exciting! I have been following this thread and build with admiration. That is going to be one fine machine and a looker to boot!

Getting close now.
Motors in and props on.
Have to say the props look a bit aggressive but time will tell.

Scheduled launch day is next Thursday. Still plenty to do on the interior.
Anti foul applied which shows good intent.

The props have serious pitch, as you've noted. I will mark Thursday on my calendar (we're in the same time zone) and I will be sending good vibes your way!

Best wishes, KL

We launched after a few delays.
Craning on to the trailer was the most nerve wracking part of the whole build process.
Unfortunately the port shaft seals must have been damaged on install so after a brief run down the harbour we had to lift out again. Not a lot of water coming in but too much to leave on a marina.
Of course it is a long weekend down here for Matariki so no replacement available until Monday.......
Early impressions underway were very favourable.

The tension is palpable! Good luck with the shaft seal. Ahi is one good-looking vessel, for sure.
