We have a President 41. Have had it about 1.5 years now. Love it. Good luck with your search.

The President 43 wouldn't be quite as old but rumor has it that model had some stability issues, and used to veer to the right

There is one here in Poulsbo that is about to go on the market. I have no idea what he is going to ask for it but send me contact info and I will pass it on to him.

Good luck. Just put the first coat of paint on my 41's flybridge and cabin today. Going to redo the decks also this year and the hull next year. We love ours. Hope you come to love yours.

Thank you, been in love with this boat since seeing a new one in 1982. We stepped on this one and knew it was perfect right away. I'm sure we will talk again once I get it home. Have a great day!

We love ours. We purchased it in Muskegan, Michigan about 3 yrs ago and delivered it home to southern Connecticut on its own bottom. If you have the ability to pilot it home yourself, I would strongly encourage it. Nothing like spending 8 hrs a day on the water traveling home.

^^^It's a little harder for CapnJack however since he's moving it inland to Lake Coeur D'Alene.

So how close could you theoretically get it to Coeur D'Alene? Lewiston?

Good suggestion, wonder if the new owner (well, prospective new owner) has checked into that.
I'd be concerned about height restrictions on the 2 lanes to get from there (Lewiston) to Coeur D'Alene.
Then again, the cruise up the river would be a fun adventure!

We considered that route, however we are busy with kids and sports and work and life in general. Someday we will do something like that however the Admiral wants splash down on Lake CDA in time to host our annual Cinco De Mayo party on board the new toy. First we have to get through the survey on Friday. Ordered oil samples today. Will sea trial and haul out same day as well. I'll know pretty much everything by Friday evening. Good times.

I haven't seen anyone running around North Country in La Conner yet, just in case the Gig Harbor boat ends up having some problems.
