Village Marine Water Maker

I will never need a water maker so I am going to take it off the boat.

I need some help in determining a fair price for it. I have no clue as to it's value but I will sell it for a reasonable price.

We have the No-Frills that we bought in 2007. It was the show display unit and we paid $4,700. We have 2 pre-filters vs one it looks like in the picture and our control panel is different. A new membrane is ~$400. Village Marine's membranes are 38" long vs the industry standard of 40" if it is the 18-24 GPH model. The hoses/some fittings will need to be replaced and maybe the pump head will need to be rebuilt but they are great units with a titanium high pressure pump. From the pictures I'd say the pump, motor and booster pump are in above average condition for the age. How much? It's up to you but don't throw it away.

Good information Larry. Thanks.

I am going to have it examined by a VM tech before I decide what to ask. It is supposed to be pickled.
