A Trawler of a different color?... 36 Pace (Egg Harbor) with twin Yanmars
Four NMPG at 1200rpm, and 7 knots... with the ability to jet up to 28 knots to pass that pesky tow?
We used her as a trawler around the Clear Lake area, and it performs great in that role. We had originally bought this boat as our "Great Loop" boat, but life has gotten in the way, so we put her on the market...
*Pace 36*Sportfish Convertible 1988 (Built in Taiwan by Nautique Yachts)*
*

New 8k Yanmar/Mase generator 300 hours

Very Nice Boat, Jim. I think I saw you out on Sunday??? I have always been a fan of the Pace 36s. I have seen a few with 3208s and some with Cummins. What did the Yanmars replace??? Anyway, I may give you a ring and come down to check it out. I am in South Shore as well. Good Luck with the sale!!!

Thanks John! Come on over, always cold cerveza in the fridge!
This was a gas boat, and was converted to the Yanmars when the boat was still on the Great Lakes.* Very nicely done installation, complete with oil pumpout. Conversion was done by Great Lakes Diesel.

Some additional pics of the interior. Tons of teak, as only the Taiwanese can do!

RE: A Trawler of a different color?... 36 Pace (Egg Harbor) with twin Yanmars
Some additional info:
I have the bottom cleaned by a diver (Darkwater Divers) every 90 days. He also does the zincs, (did them on last service in July). Had props worked by Baumanns to pick up some rpm a few months back, they are in excellent condition. Boat is washed twice a month by Silda's Yacht Service, and compound/buff/waxed every six months. (Last buff was in conjunction with the teak refinish, last month.) Teak has 11 coats of Cetol, 3 natural base and 8 coats clear gloss. All work performed by Sonny Castro.
Also, New autopilot head unit (Sitex SP-80).
One year old Clarion MD-5 stereo with Clarion Marine speakers on bridge, Infinity speakers in cockpit, and cockpit mounted digital remote. Also has the Sirius box...
New house water pump
New stainless swim ladder on marlin board.
All new rodholders. (Used for drinkholders, NOT FISHING RODS!) he he!!
As far as I know, this boat has never been fished...

I've been thinking someone needs to take a look at this. I've got my hands full of boat right now or I'd be on my way.
Nice boat Jim.

Not in the market myself, but had to comment on what a beautiful boat you have there Jim. *Nicely laid out and especially love the sink/microwave/stove combination. Very stylish!
Good luck on the sale.
