Sold-Restored 28' Bayliner, new engine and more

Cool, classy rebuilt boat, modest price, perfect size ready to go now. $19,800
Brand NEW engine, not rebuilt, 20 hours, outdrive completely dissembled and serviced, open, spacious, 360 visibility, not buried in a cave, new bottom paint, not too big, not too small.
Why carry the weight of an extra engine and fuel, no need for twin screws, this boat has an outdrive and turns on a dime.

This 1984 Bayliner Contessa had everything done to it last Fall by master mechanics and craftsmen in Antioch who service the boat which is the SF Opening Day ceremonies host vessel, three years in a row. They have also installed new Yanmar diesel engines and rebuilt classic yachts, so I was lucky to have them do the extensive work.
The boat has been in fresh water and a covered berth, it is now in Sausalito.

No expense was spared, so all improvements and labor will go to the next owner.
I have a US Coast Guard Master 100 Gross Ton license, boat was rebuilt for my existing charter service.
Plans change, you get the benefit of my rebuild efforts.

Drive from upper helm or from inside
Turn the key and go.
Lovely charter today, St Patty’s Day, exterior images taken 17 March.
Just had a charter with Italian winemakers, they loved the flybridge...

-New bottom paint, zincs, Oct 2018, bottom cleaned, zincs checked March 2019
--NEW 290 HP Chevy block and heads, oil changed after 15 hours, now about 22 total on new engine
-Complete outdrive rebuild, Volvo Penta 290, Aug 2018
-Bimini for upper helm
-VHF inside and topside, two antennas
-depth meter
-brand new toilet-has not been used
-Complete flybridge cover (needs one side re stitched)
-new anti glare window screen coverings
-trim tabs
-swim platform with ladder (very impt safety consideration)
-extra anchor, chain and rode
-new prop, and spare
-hanging locker, lots of storage
-two new $175 high output batteries, total $350 plus tax
-spot light remote control
- life jackets, fenders, boat hook, fire extinguishers, etc
-new speakers and Bluetooth radio set up
-beautiful custom teak salon table
-shore power
-two fold up cockpit tables for fish cleaning or serving
-chrome rocket launchers removed but available

This boat is great for cruising with the family and friends, fishing or spending the night as a getaway, even a live aboard.
Friends can hang out on the back deck, flybridge, bow area or inside.
The big expensive stuff has been done and should last for another 1000 hours.
This is a unique opportunity for basically a rebuilt boat of a good design without paying big bucks, and saving on fuel costs and larger boat slip fees.
Boat is in Sausalito. Sea trial only after agreed upon price, once sold this posting is removed.
