We have all heard it………
The two happiest days in a boater’s life is the day you buy the boat, and the day you sell the boat.
Well……….maybe for some. But for me that statement is totally and undeniably FALSE!!!!!
2 ½ years ago my wife and I moved on board Toad Hall, our 40 foot Bluewater trawler. At that time, we put our beloved Ranger 25 classic up for sale.
We turned down three very acceptable offers. Why?? Well, we said it was because “next summer we would do the Columbia River, then the Sacramento River Delta, Then….then……..we would put her somewhere along the Great Loop and do the trip in stages as time permits…..Yeah!!! That’s why we still have her!
Or it could be...... that I would rather sell my kid than sell this boat.
Time hasn’t, and probably won’t in the foreseeable future, permit any of those trips. And Poco Allegro needs to get off her trailer and be used and loved.
Its time.
It will not be a happy day.
Poco is a 2009 R-25 classic
Yanmar 150 hp engine with 700 hours.
Garmin 5212 GPS, Depth, Radar.
Raymarine Auto pilot.
EZ Loader trailer.
Bow and Stern Thrusters.
Wallas diesel stove/heater.
Currently in Sequim, WA
Photos at http://rangerr25forsale.weebly.com/
Asking Price is $85,000. Will consider part trade for aircraft or outboard boat.
Don’t be shy about making an offer. Its time to let go.
She has been out of the water for 2 1/2 years. Condition is age appropriate.
Consider checking her out and making a "I don't have to do anything offer"
Kid is also for sale. No money down, take over student loan payments. Sold as is.
