SOLD Perkins st63544 multicooler

Perkins multicooler from st 6.3544m.

I removed unit, had professionally cleaned, and flanges repaired at machine shop.

Upon reassembly charge air core section was determined to be leaking. I replaced the entire unit last spring, so selling this for 1/2 the bill for cleaning and machine shop work.

$300. Located RI.

Jack, yes they are. I have the gearbox one apart right now. Mine was sent out for disassembly so assume pressed out. It may be a task to get any of the cores out of the shells easily. I seem to recall someone here soaked theirs for a week in something like pb blaster before attempting disassembly. I would recommend great care as the cores can be damaged easily

Agree with Jango. Mine went to an automotive radiator shop for hot tank cleaning and disassembly. Even with care, it took some effort to separate.

Pete, Thanks to your and your wife’s extraordinary efforts to get the multicooler parts to us the Trawler officially sold yesterday after a successful repair and sea trial without a leak. We’d still be waiting for a rather expensive replacement if not for your efforts. Thanks again Pete.

If anyone is in need of the oil cooler core and shell let me know. Actually I have a repaired transmission core as well
