Sold-Dickenson Lofoten Diesel Heater

Brand new, never been used or installed, Dickenson Lofoten floor mounted diesel heater. Bought it, decided I didn’t really need it in South Louisiana. I’ll include the fuel pump which is used. Heater listed for 1,139.00 on the Dickenson site, I bought it from Sure Marine for 770.00, Dickenson is quality equipment, I had their Atlantic diesel stove on the boat which I removed because we never used it and I wanted a little more space in the galley. The Lofoten heater is about half the size of the Atlantic stove.
I’ll sell the heater for 600.00, fuel pump free, buyer pays shipping. PM if interested.

For those living aboard in colder climates these heaters are ideal.I lived with the antarctic version for 15 winters in NYC .

Coldest was -17F , the unit was working full bore , but it was still T shirt inside , although colder outside would have required more heat. Usually NYC is 25F night 35F days

These have a larger top surface so crock pot cooking while you're gone is fine.

Underway , a low just on flame would keep water just below the boil, hot choc ready.

The maint is close to zero (3-5 min every few months), no parts or fixes were required .

My job required my absence 2-3 days a week , no problem., as long as the gravity feed fuel supply was large enough.

Almost 17,000BTU will heat a modest 35 -40 ft boat ,for most winters.
