    • Place only one ad per item (you may repost only when your ad has expired and been removed).
    For Sale ads MUST include:
    • Asking price
    • Location
    • A Basic Description
    • Clear statement whether you are the owner or non-owner (posting for friend, relative, or acquaintance)
    • Don't forget to select: FOR SALE, WANTED or FREE in the Title block.
    All ads should also include ALL the following:
    • Pertinent maintenance and condition information
    • Exterior picture or pictures
    • Interior picture or pictures (boats)
    For maximum impact & exposure, it is suggested the Ad Title include: Year, Manufacturer, Model, Length, Price, and Location or at the very top of the ad body. When your item has sold or the ad is no longer relevant: Please post a Reply to the ad that the item is SOLD or click "Report Post" on post 1 of the thread to ask a moderator to archive the ad. Ads may be moved or removed by our staff at any time for any reason. All ads must comply with site rules. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Our classifieds are free and anyone registered here is welcome to post an ad.
    Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or �feels� wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers �agents� and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.

    Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.

    Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.

    Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
    • Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
    • No posts or very few forum posts.
    • Recent forum membership
    • Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
    • Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
    • Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
    • Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

Illness forces me rot sell MOONDANCE- a 1983- 30’ Atlantic/ Prairie LRC Trawler located on the Eastern end of the North Fork of Long Island, New York. A link to an old listing follows:

There are corrections & additions to this listing as follows:

Electronics:- Raymarine - new, installed Oct. 2016:
2- (1 on bridge & 1 in lower helm) 9” touchscreen ES97 MFD’s with internal sonar & GA150 GPS with external antenna for more accuracy.
ACU400 Corepac - Hydraulic Autopilot with fluxgate Compass & control heads at both helm stations.

No TV
No Tender

New Lewmar H2 Windlass, installed Sept. 2016, with 30’ -5/16 HT Chain & 200’ 5/8- 8 plait rode with swivel & shackle.
No Plow, but with a 44lb. original BRUCE Anchor & a Danforth anchor & rode.
Dinghy Davits at stern in cockpit, with self tailing winches for ease of handling.

I have a survey done in Aug.2016, & many pictures with the new updates available. She has not been in the water this year, & has been stored indoors, after the seasons since 2016

Batteries? Number and size and approx age?

What happened to the listed TV and tender?

Tender & TV from the old original listing, not worth keeping.

Approximately 1900 Hrs. +- Engine, start, House ,bow thruster, & Inverter battery banks.

All batteries are 8D, except the gen start battery?
What size charger?

What else did the survey find?
Did you haul the boat?

Sounding like a pretty good boat at a pretty good price.
What is it that you do not like about the boat?

There is NOTHING I don't like about her! I like EVERYTHING about her, She is (was) perfect for me, I was up-grading her to today's standards. Almost all done except radar. Like I said I had a stroke in June, changed my lifestyle & home location,& will not be able to use or keep her in her pristeen condition.

Then you bought the boat, good for you.
Sorry about your stroke. Hope you are making progress with your recovery.
 
I lived on a P29 for 5 years. They are the best "little big" boat out there. I would say it does not get any better in the pocket trawler category!!!

Moondance IS a GREAT-(roomy) little boat! I just want her to go to someone who will appreciate & enjoy her. She deserves that!
 
Thank you all for your interest, Moondance has been sold. Seatial in the spring.
