The sky is the limit if money is not an issue. Contact a broker...they should be willing to help. If you are looking for help from this crowd, you are gonna have to be a bit more specific in what you are looking for.

Our boat was just put on the market after having her all spiffed up. This week is the first time that she's being shown and there are already some prospects coming. She could be put into the water and driven to the Bahamas - she's perfectly ready to cruise anywhere. She's a DeFever RPH 53 (raised pilothouse). We've been the only owners and have had her for 13 wonderful years.

How does a boat create a bow wave and a wake, all the while being at anchor in smooth water???

Plenty to check out on Yachtworld!!
Will at least help you to better define your need.
All boats had better be "seaworthy" even on a lake!!
Do you envisage ocean crossing?

We travel throughout the Bahamas so I need a boat that can handle that area. Krogen 40' nordhavn or something along those lines.

If you can deal with the trip south there is a decent Selene 47 in Rhode Island asking $325K

Used to see it from dock when we visited Newport area. Looked decent from the dock but have not been on board. We owned a similar Selene 47. This one looks relatively cheap at $325K. Price has been dropped significantly in last year. For reference, our Selene was one year older and sold for $400K 2 years ago.

Just curious if yours had a V-berth or an island queen??? As a boat shopper, that $325k is a great price but the big red flag that pops out at me is no "proper" berth in the entire boat.

The boring answer would be that it is anchored in lot of current but I would like to believe that it dropped its anchor on a whale or submarine and is being taken for a ride.

The even more boring answer (which is most likely) is Photoshop.
