An ANTENNA NUT

Folks with a sailing background will be familiar with the style of antenna that is a base loaded SS coil and thin antenna mounted on a bracket at the mast head.

I am attempting to mount an AM-FM antenna of the same style on LUCY .

Sadly I do not have the retaining nut which is the same size as a std VHF wire hookup.

If anyone has a source to purchase , or can spare an old one , let me know!

I will PM my address ,

Thanks,

FF

HA! we are all antenna nuts and many don't even know it!
Lets see: a 1.5Ghz receive antenna, a 8/900Mhz Tx/Rx antenna, a 1.8/1.9GHz Tx/Rx antenna, a 2.4Ghz Tx/Rx antenna, a near field RFID antenna; I think i missed a LTE band..double up on a couple for spatial diversity.. all within an arms reach for most

Got me to thinking, started counting, when I remembered to add my GPS and wireless antennas the list got quite long. So I guess you can count me in.

Love the head gear , but is it robust enough to function after an EMP strike?
