The anchor is no longer available, HydroBubble Captain's Choice 65lb., attached with a Lewmar SS swivel to an approximately 350' anchor rode comprised of 300' of 5/8" 8-plait nylon rode and 50' 3/8" HT chain.... dimensions maybe off slightly and, I think, chain/rode may actually be longer.
The Hydro-Bubble anchor can be searched for more info. If you're not familiar with the anchor, a much smaller HB anchor performed as well or better than many well-known anchors, including Rocna and spade anchors that were twice as heavy.
The Captain's Choice HydroBubble anchor may be broken down into an easily storable SS plow and anodized marine aluminum shank. Plow unhooks from the shank and is easily storage.
To quote... "In addition to the Standard Series of HydroBubble® anchors we have specifically designed an anchor for use on LARGE BOATS. All Captain's Choice Series® anchors are designed to ALWAYS return to an upright position whenever they are in the water without relying on ANY action with the ground or rode. Captain’s Choice® Heavy Duty Series anchors are made of satin polished stainless steel and Type III anodized marine aluminum. These anchors are weighted for faster deployment and are suitable for the heavy duty service that owners of large boats expect. Captain’s Choice® Heavy Duty Series anchors are available for boats up to 80+ feet in length."
BTW... I originally purchased a 55 lb anchor from HB, which was two steps up in class from the recommended anchor for my 52' boat, but they were out of that size plow so they substituted the 65 lb plow which is way more substantial. Additional info may be found here... HydroBubble® Anchors and Anchor Rodes
This is an outstanding anchor and rode combination. Ask and I'll send pictures...
I'll sell this total package for less than the cost of a new chain/nylon rode... $500.
If you're interested, I'll send pics. PM me and I'll respond. I'm in Baltimore's Inner Harbor until the end of the month and then headed north to Montreal. If necessary, I'll pack and ship it to you for the shipping costs.
