For the last 3-4 years, Costco has been selling a 10'10" PVC HydroSport inflatable rated for 15HP for around $500. They seem to go on sale in the stores in the spring.
I bought one a couple years ago and it's been stellar. Fortunately I'm able to store it in my covered slip on a dink float so it stays out of the water and the sun when not in use at my home slip...the Achilles heels of PVC dinks.

Is that Costco pvc dinghy made with pvc coated fabric or is it just a plain film of PVC? PVC is used in high quality dinghys such as made by Zodiac but needs a fabric base, although Hypalon is better.
Great question, David. Yes, it's fabric based. It feels much like my old hypalon 9.5 Achilles but it's much larger and well balanced with the Merc 2-stroke 15.
I drive it straight up my dink float without an issue or concern. The soft bottom still looks great.
Love the aluminum floor and tank strap.
