Met with Scott at the Annapolis boat show on Thursday. He was just about to head over there and meet the ship! Enjoy the new boat.

That's so cool! I hope you'll be able to sleep the night before you pick her up...

Bill, when you have time please post a few pictures of your new boat. I'm sure you are enjoying every minute and likely took a few days off work. Looking forward to seeing you on the water.

So, it looks like it was lifted off the boat attached to its cradle attached. I presume they dropped in on a low boy which then moved it somewhere in the port of LA where they could finish commissioning and launch. It would probably be too tall to move far.

The boat came out excellent; systems, interior, fit and finish.
Scott and Van spent a lot of time with me during the commissioning process, which was greatly appreciated.
Pictures attached from the yard.
Electronics install started yesterday. I will post some interior pics in a few weeks when things are cleaned up.
I hope my fellow TF'ers are well, and wish everyone a great upcoming summer boating season.
Fletch.

Must be a thrill. Glad it's going so well. Looking fwd to many more pics!
Maybe you should plan a trip up this way to see how she performs in the benign, fresh waters of the CA Delta. Better get a dink first, though.

Electronics are mostly done. The Furono NXT radar that uses Doppler and trailing shadows for targets has been great. We ran the boat overnight to the Islands so I got plenty of practice with it this week. The dual radar screen using two scales simultaneously is also helpful. The picture is at 5:30 am, with the sun rising behind her courtesy of Lil Dronie.

75 days for electronics and they still are not done? Sounds excessive, but I was also victim of an excessive commissioning time frame. Don't make my mistake of taking delivery before everything is 100% complete as proven by a sea trial.
