Camano 31 question

I am a wanna be and have my sights set on a Camano 31. I have chartered one and like it.

Do any current Camano 31 owners think I could have the swim platform extended another 2 or 3 feet to create more area for water sports and/or to keep an inflatable?

I would guess there is no structural reason not to but check for wash interfering with an extension. Coming off plane? Getting on plane?

I don't have one but I looked - didn't like cling-on side decks and the engine access, unsure of the ladder access to the flying bridge. Loved the windows.

Dunno...would seem a bit much to me. You'll likely be dragging an extension that long in the water which may hurt performance/efficiency/:

You can carry a dingy like most of us do on smallish boats via Weaver snap davits...

My boat with a smallish platform. We've been very happy with this set-up..

We used to own one, I wouldn't recommend doing that.
