Camano 31, ChartPlotter

Got a 2002 Camano Troll, lower helm chart plotter is just broke. Originally black and white horizon chart plotter. Looking for recommendations on a 5 to 7 inch or so GPS Chart Plotter. Like to spend less than $1000.

Might consider moving my horizon 180 from upper helm and installing new plotter on flying bridge.

Would like preloaded charts, East Coast ICW Norfolk and South.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GARMIN-GPSMA...item4846353eef These garmins are great! We have 2 441's along side our raymarine e80's on our camano and love them. There very upgradable, we have the garmins weather with ours along with the g2 charts, needless to say garmins are great.

I've got SH displays & have had good luck with them, they have the embedded charts but for more detail I use the c-map + charts. Not sure I would want touch screen after trying to use my iPad while being a passenger in a car, if it got rough out it may be problematic to touch what you want. Good luck
