I was thinking about you and Patti yesterday. Congratulations! The boat looks great! That hull really sets it off.

Does that photo realistically capture the color? Ours is the same color, hoping to have it sometime this summer.

Looks like you will have a snotty run down to Seattle. I'll be watching for you coming through the ship canal. We are just past the Ballard Bridge as you head towards Lake Union.

We just met the boat in Port Townsend where it cleared customs. Our impression after seeing the actual boat is that photos don’t do it justice. It is beautiful and we were able to identify it when it was just a speck on the horizon. We are thrilled. The.customs agent liked it too.

Scott is single handing it to Seattle. Because of a paper work issue, clearing customs took longer than expected. We got some quality time poking around Rick and Nancy joined us for the ooh and ah session. Tomorrow it will haul out in Seattle for the swim step and through hulls.

Thank you, and yes, the photo captures the color perfectly. It was absolutely thrilling to see it in person. We couldn’t be happier.

Where do you haul, and any idea when Scott will reach Seattle? I'll try to get some pictures if I can.

Van said it would take about 4 or 5 hours and Scott didn’t leave until about 2:15.

Good idea to watch the haul out. A chance to look at the hull and running gear, watch how the swim step is attached and how the thru hulls are done. If it's at Seahawk, they will do a proper job.

Scott arrived at the docks after transiting the big locks single handed in the dark. Right after arriving, he let us know our boat has arrived safely. That says all you need to know about Scott and the Helmsman Trawlers team. We look forward to learning the boat from the people who make and stand behind a quality product.

Looking good. If you are around come knock on our boat. We are tied to the sea wall. I poked my head over the ladder and didn’t see if anyone was onboard, but all looked quiet.

Thank you very much! We ordered the same color for our Helmsman (in construction, hull #1 of the 38 Sedan) without having seen the color in person. It's so hard to tell what a color actually looks like just from pics on the internet. They all look different!

If your pic is a reasonable depiction of what it actually looks like, we'll also be extremely happy.

Congratulations again!!!

Nick, you will be very happy with it. We keep getting compliments on the color. It’s almost embarrassing. Don’t worry about how it looks in the progress photos. The finished product is breathtaking and exactly what we wanted. We also got concerned about the upholstery color not looking right in the photos. Once we got aboard, we placed the swatch from a chair we ordered and the match was perfect. We look forward to seeing photos of your boat.

Pics of the 43e delivered to Deltaville Va. by scott on 2/12/23
Chose the Cummins 550. Hit 16.5 knots with 3 people no water and no swim platform and 400 gallons of diesel. With full water, swim platform attached and 4 people aboard hit 15.5 knots consistently with assistance from trim tabs above 10 knots. They gave us the last knot of speed. Running the same engine at 1000 rpm burns 1 gal / hour.

Miss Ginny “The Jade Princess”

The first 43E with a single stateroom. Master stateroom has a separate walk-in shower large enough that 2 people could fit to give an example of its size. Then added the “powder room” head to the other side of the stateroom with a recessed washer / dryer combo. The gives the owner an enclosed stateroom with full private bathroom availability.

We have slept on both the 38E and the 43E in the stateroom, pilothouse and saloon. All 3 were comfortable so we do not miss the second stateroom and really like the roomy separate and private bath facilities.

That looks FANTASTIC

The wide stripe below the rubrail is a recent idea, and had that been on my radar I'd have given it serious consideration. It really looks great.

Congratulations.
