Just in case anyone is interested in a new build boat using wood I started a thread under electric boats. While this boat is not a trawler we decided to design and contract the build our own electric boat. The boat will be small (16' - 18") and something we can trailer. After owning four trawlers including three Nordhavn's we are done with the bigger boats (at least for now) and was looking for something to stay on the water. I did not expect this to turn into a custom design / built boat but life is short.
Anyone with experience building a wooden boat I would enjoy discussing our project with you. Thank you
