Downeast Classic

I think I could be happy just putting varnish on this beauty for the rest of my life. This is what a boat should look like.

You guys need to cruise or visit Downeast. Boats like this are common sights. But they never cease to titillate the senses. Bunker & Ellis boats.

If it only had the right anchor I'd be all over it. Seriously though, boat porn is way overused but should be reserved for boats like this.

David, I love Maine. I wish I could visit, it's been almost thirty years.
When I had my boat built, I made a little plaque with the name and date on it. I asked everyone who worked on it to sign it. I'm proud to say Mr. Ellis senior signed it. I bet his grand kids are running the company now.

Craig, what ever that thing is that the anchor is hanging from would have to go. Nice wood pulpit or lay a Fortress flat on the deck.

Not a problem. You wouldn't have time to put the varnish brush down.

Wow... That is so fine. And repowered with a Deere in '08. Did you see the size of the power panel? No telling what kind of creature comforts are snuggled under all of the shine!
