We added a small wood threshold inside of the bottom track for the screen doors to help keep the tracks from getting stepped on. Used a piece of hardwood flooring, cut to 1-1/2" wide by 5/8" high and 67" long, with a 20d angled top.

Worked well, the top is about 1/8" proud of the top of the aluminum bottom track for the screen doors and protects the track.

Highly recommend ...

Bottom endshot of threshold (about 1-1/4" wide by 5/8" high, slope is about 20d, cut from a pre-finished wood flooring board, cherry wood matches our interior wood finish fairly well.

I plan on setting the threshold in a non-adheasive silicone sealant so there are not nails or brads or screws and it can be removed
