Tranny temp gauge?

Can someone tell me where to install a temp gauge on a BW transmission. There are a couple allen screws on the top of the housing maybe for a future sending unit but I can't find any info in the manual. I'm running a FL120 and a BW tranny.

Thanks

You can put a "tee" fitting in the fluid supply line to the oil cooler. Put a temp probe in the tee.

All of the allen screws seal oil passages. The 2 larger ones are appropriate for pressure/temp gauges. The aft one (next to the hose) is the better choice of you have room. It's a good idea to include an alarm with your gauge.

OK I'm an idiot. I'm gonna try the allen fitting first. But, if that doesn't work which coolant hose is the correct one for the tee fitting? I'm not sure which direction the fluid is being pumped.

The port on TOP goes to the cooler.
It returns to the bottom port.
I have a PDF of the manual if you want it.
Send me a PM with your e address.
