Shut out for Roy's Diesel Injection in Jacksonville.

I called the afternoon of February 15 about a leaking injector pump.

Today, in the AM, (the 19th) I'm up and running more smoothly that before with a totally rebuilt pump.

So the price has two components, the rebuild of the injector pump was $968.

Making the service call, removing and replacing the pump (and travel both ways) was 5.75 hours at $90/HR.

The pump was a Zexel VE type (may say Diesel Kiki on pump if it's an old one) on a Westerbeke 100.

The pump is easily accessible - Roy had me send him pictures of the engine access before he sent his great guy Tom over. (Also got the idea that they were not too hot about removing pumps on sailboats.)
