sbman ... thank you very much for taking the time to detail all of the pieces you used for your oil drain hose assemblies ... this should give me enough information to roughly duplicate what you've done ... I was in Green Line (a larger, local wholesaler of hose and fittings here in Vancouver) yesterday getting 0.25" O.D. teflon tubing and a chunk of 0.25" I.D. rubber fuel hose (to make a new dipstick probe for my JABSCO 17800-2000 Porta Quick Oil Changer that still had the 0.50" I.D. neoprene suction hose component) and the salesrep gave me 3 glossy paper catalogs and a catalog supplement (newer stuff to them) to look through ... the rep admitted their website was not detailed enough to show all of their offerings online and showed me some push-on hose / fittings and other brass / SS fittings options that may allow me to procure what I need for closer to what your expenditure was. FFF
