So I came to the conclusion that the raymarine type 2 pump in the boat is done for, the bottom of the motor itself is rusted out pretty bad. And wow are they expensive with that name on them.
So I came across teleflex's type 2 pump and interestingly enough it appears from what I can gather so far it can replace the ray pump AND the capilano return check valve box thing at the same time. The output side of the pump runs 2 lines to the steering cylinder and the input side runs 3 lines to the helm, 2 for steering and 1 for the return.
