I wonder if anyone here has installed the Lewmar 110 TT 1.5KW 62lb thrust 4.3dia tube . Wonder if it can work well enough on my 34ft MT DC ? It is $750 less than the Lewmar 140 TT 2.2KW which puts out 92 LBS thrust 5.5 dia. tube. ??It seems that the 62lbs thrust might be enough "push" sideways to do the docking job. Anyone? Thanks.

You have a boat with a lot in the water and in the air. If it was mine I'd put in a 185TT. The 110TT is a toy, save your money.

I went with the next size up when we installed our stern thruster. I have never regretted going larger. Less run time and it will work better in the wind.
