How Bad is This?

Well i decided to just cut the bent portion off.
Ground it down nice and smooth.
I figured the portion that was curled was not acting as a rudder surface anyways. I have not removed any useable surface area but hopefully did remove any possible drag or other steering issues.
We will see if there is any difference once in the water.

I think that was a good decision, should work fine assuming there is no damage to rest of the steering mechanism.
 
Looks planned for!

Next owner will see it and wonder why the rudder was planned that way...
