About 20-years ago, I picked these two helm pumps out of a West Marine Bargain Store in Oakland CA. I'm thinking of installing to replace my 50+ year old helm pumps but can find virtually zero information on them. Unfortunately, the pumps are in a storage locker in Ensenada and I'm in Florida. The attached is the only picture I have.
1. I found an old classified on TheHullTruth.com where the helm pump looks to be the same as mine. States it's a "H-824" but a google search doesn't turn up much, so I wonder if that's a correct model number.
2. What is the displacement? I found one PDF from 2008 showing the SeaStar version on Page 9-5.
3. Any thoughts on using this helm on my Willard 36, 27k lbs displacement, full keel/displacement with barn-door rudder? As "Island Cessna" recently informed, my Wagner T-Ram is right at 10 cubic inche displacement.
As always, thanks in advance....
