FL 120 Injector pump

Hello team,
Quick question for the pros. I have a little seepage coming out the oil drain plug on my Ford Lehman 120 injector pump plug. Would y'all suggest putting a little rubber gasket on there or just some type of thread sealant on the screw?

I replaced mine with a petcock to more easily do the every 50-hour oil change. No problem to add an o-ring while so doing. Just be careful not to over tighten into that aluminum pump sump.
