2725e lehman thermostat location

So I believe the po removed the thermostat from this engine, can't get it up to temperature unless you run it wot for more than 5 minutes. So I am putting one back in, but I'm not exactly sure where it is. I believe if I take the coolant tank off it is right there, is this correct?

Mr. W. As far as I know that's where it is alright. I had to alter (shorten) a 1/2" wrench to get to the mounting bolts though.
