1974 MT 34 Wet Exhaust replacement

My MT 34 1974 needs new wet exhaust. I measured the tube and called Trident, who told me that this size has never been made on these shores - its about 3 5/8 ID IIRC. Has anyone encountered this, and have a solution to the problem?
