Not really "voyaging" per se, although this is where our voyages end up. Went out to the boat for a quick check last weekend after a day of visiting a bunch of farms in the Skagit Valley and grabbed these two shots while I was there. The port has not started letting boats move onto the newly replaced G-dock yet so the view from the boat across Bellingham Bay toward the San Juan and Gulf islands and the Olympic Mountains is uncluttered by masts and antennas.

Even though our boat is 90 miles from our house we go up to it almost every weekend year round. We go out when we can but even when we can't we use it as a weekend getaway cabin. We've kicked around the idea of keeping the boat in a boathouse but it wouldn't be much fun to spend a weekend on a boat looking at the inside of the boathouse. So we happily trade the extra maintenance from being in the weather year round for this view.

In the second shot the mountains on the horizon on the left are the Olympics.
