Marina Recommendation-Naples/Marco Island

Hope to do a run from Punta Gorda to Key West next month.

Would like to break it into 2 days

Hope someone will share experiences at a marina for overnight with amenities and a decent restaurant

33' express cruiser, 13' beam 2x30 amp service

Would like quick access and good wake protection

WHAT SAY YOU !

Best!

Punta Gorda to Key West

There’s really nothing easy to choose along the way… so pick a destination that you would like to go to.

We have done this trip a few times and stayed at Naples City Docks and the Marina at Factory Bay in Marco. Big Marco Pass has had some shoaling issues lately so Gordon Pass to Naples may be a better choice. Both passes are pretty close to each other so it shouldn't effect you time much either way.

If you decide to use Marco a call to a local towing service may help with the pass there.

Did you call for availability?? The pandemic has caused a buying spree of RV's and boats. available slips are very hard to come by in most places. The nicest places get filled up first.
