Nice anchorage if you prefer , tho the bottom is foul with old USCG dumping , chain cables etc.

Use a trip line if anchoring.

I have stayed at Utch's and will also recommend them.
I have also anchored there and it's a crappy anchorage IMO.

Have anchored out with success too.

Cape May is one of my favorite towns.

I have always anchored by the USCG station. No problems for me. The SF s do vome and go early and late. If you leave the inlet about 4:00am you'll have no problem making Sandy Hook before dark.

probably will go to Utch's, as I need some thing sent to me.
Also, will ask Sea Gear People where it is easiest for them to deliver my chain to the boat.
