I'm in the process of buying a 31' trawler and will need to transport it from southeast Texas to Jacksonville, FL, so I can run it up the ICW to the Chesapeake. Does anyone have a recommendation on a marina in Jacksonville where an 18-wheeler can get into relatively easy? Any info is greatly appreciated.

You obviously have your plans in gear and may not have time, but it is a nice time of year to run her on around and enjoy the ride.

Lamb’s has enough room and a travelift to do the job.

All other things equal I would jump on that in a minute, but I'm stepping up from smaller boats and I want a delivery captain/trainer to lend a hand. I think the time from Jax to the Chesapeake will be sufficient so it's a bit of a cost savings to just put the boat in the water on the east side. Thank you, though.
