We looked at a Gulfstar 36 and liked what it had to offer, when we go back to take a more in depth tour is there any thing in particular we should look for pertaining to this specific model? The deck needs recoring work on the bow for sure.

Am I correct that the hull is solid glass, not cored? The house is all fiberglass?

What do you like and/or dislike about your Gulfstar?

Thanks, even if we don't move forward on this one Gulfstars will stay on our list. It does really make a difference to get on as many boats as possible to see what works and doesn't.

Thanks.

Hi. I have a Gulfstar 36 from 1976. I love the aft cabin(s) boats. Our stateroom is very large and roomy. Company has their own space and head. My dual Perkins SIP fuel! They are easy to work on and the engine compartment is large enough to get at everything. Fiberglass hull. Does have some cracking that we are working on this summer. The tanks are integrated in the hull. Look for leaks in the black water tank. Also it is very small... Strange for a boat with this much range. She sits tight in the water and maneuvers well. This is not a speedy boat by any means though. Hope this helps.
