1989 49' Under Contract

Very excited to be the hopeful new owners of a 1985 49. Having engine survey in April. Have great professional team reviewing boat. Very excited. Love any 49' owners to chime in with advice.

Thanks House is closing (hopefully) next seek. The bottom work (wet core in one area) will be done as soon as contractors can get on it. So we should be closing on the boat or about 5/15 - 6/1.

The folks we are buying it from are great and are do not want to sell. They owned two 49's. We are very much looking forward to our next chapter in life.

Stay tuned. Details to be revealed as it all shakes out. Never count the chickens....

Began with hull repair under fuel tank. Wet, not from fuel, but small bad repair. Yard worker injury issues etc and so on. Ultimately they did a good job.

Then shaft straightening, and in one case replacing, issues. Shipping of shaft etc.

Beyond that dont ask. PTSD.
