Permission to come aboard

Hello from the Great Lakes State of Michigan.
My wife and I are newbies to the trawler world and look forward to our first trawler soon. I’ve been kicking tires for a couple years since selling our 32 express cruiser so it’s time to get onboard a few different models with my wife.
Although I considered a larger express with diesels like a Tiara 37-43 but cost/benefit keeps bringing me back to a fast trawler. I think a Mainship 390 has surfaced as our sweet spot for a starter trawler so thats where we plan to start shopping. Wish us luck.

Permission granted, sir! And welcome. As petty officer of the deck, let me direct your attention to the healthy MS 390 bunch here where they have lots of posts about the 350/390 (same hull I think) in the Marlowe/Mainship section of TF.

Just know right off, that no matter what boat you end up with, it will have the wrong anchor Inside joke here on the forum, which you will soon be in on.
Welcome aboard, and good luck with your boat hunt!!
