Hello there. I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone had an idea on what kind of trawler this is. I saw it in a movie and loved the style and can't seem to find a good fit for what it is. I've found some that are close. I believe it's about 30ft. Maybe shorter.
Thank you,

Welcome aboard :thumb:

Vashon Pocket Trawler, or Vashon Troller maybe?

Looks like a 1930-1960’s style TROLLER. Used to be many operating the seas.

Agreed. That's a west coast commercial salmon troller or was one. The deck house may have been modified, many had a much smaller deck house. Some, especially the older ones, were double ended like this one.

Yes the slow fishing trollers were double ended, so waves from following seas could comfortably pass. The transmissions had the trolling valve to slow it down for trolling speed while keeping the engine at a good running rpm.

Fishing at a slow trolling speed, which they were designed for. The good ole days.
