Hello Drifting... you're quite correct to seek good bones and then upgrade/select the electronics you want/need. That sounds very wise.
One question I'll throw out for the experts: when dealing in this price range, would a second full survey be worth it? Of course one hires the best surveyor they can find, but would another survey, done separately be advisable? Just curious.
This refers to a used boat, not a new build.
