Welcome to TF. Yes, the Marklines are a nice series of vessels. I remember way back in my NZ based days, while living in Hawkes Bay, and in a trailer sailer in those days, enjoying going up to the Auckland Boat Show, and salivating over the Markline 1000. It was my idea of the perfect family boat back then. Although many of my yachting colleagues referred to them, rather disparagingly, (out of envy I think), as a 'typical gin palace type of boat'.
