Just jointed you forum, got MAINSHIP 34 1980, planning upgrade a bit and use it as personal vacation machine. Merchant marine since 1987, holding Master Unlimited ticket, still working. Hope to be useful for community.

Welcome indeed. I came to these small ships from the USN and merchant world, and they are very different animals, especially if you were not involved in hands-on maintenance in your earlier career. There is one or more current threads on renovation MS 34s.
