Newbie!

My wife and I are the proud owners of a new (to us) 1989 Grand Banks 42 Classic. It's been a 3 decade (yes decade) journey to get here and we are super thrilled to now be part of this amazing community! We are approaching our new lifestyle thoughtfully, relying on the advice and wisdom of folks who have been doing this for as many decades as we have been dreaming about it (and sometime longer). We are moored in New Westminster, BC and look forward to exploring our spectacular coast in the years to come.

You might want to add BC to your profile, remember this is an international forum and many won't know where New Westminster is. For me it matters because if the person is from an area I'm not familiar with - which is most of the world - I often won't comment on certain topics like anchoring, etc, the can be a bit area dependent. Or maybe some one says "do I really AIS doing the great loop?" I don't know.

Hope I metaphorically run into you in Desolation or the Broughtons. Oh yah, add the name of your boat to the profile.
