Newbi

Hi everyone
Trying to get info on my 1999 Californian. The boat is a 2 stateroom and NOT a aft cabin. Owned it since 2007 and never even knew it was a trawler...lol. Can’t find a model name except sun lounger which is aft cabin. Hopefully someone has more info.
Thanks.

Navigator Yachts made boats like these in Southern CA near Perris, CA. They went out of business several years ago. Someone bought the company but I've heard of no activity since the sale.

Welcome and good luck learning about your boat!

You've had it for 11 years? How did you come by it and what do you do with it?

Sundowner, it's probably not a trawler if you've got the Volvos that'll allow 13-18 Kts, but we'll let you aboard anyway. We have another member, Tom B., who has a 42 Navigator.

I love the layout of the Navigators and think a 39-48 is just about as perfect a layout as I've seen. Too nice for sturgeon fishing, though...

Californian 45’

Been a good boat for us. Can’t find its model if there was one. Know it is a Marshal designed boat and almost identical to Navigator. Says can’t post pics . Not used to forums so not sure if doing things right. Thanks

Bought her in San Diego, CA. Sailed her to Oregon and been here since. Used her fishing mostly. Tuna and halibut. Cruised it around locally and spent a lot of time just relaxing. Listing it for sale due to health concerns. Happy New year to you all.

You can advertise in the TF For Sale Classifieds. As you have < 10 posts, ask Flywright if he will approve pics .

Anyone with fewer than 10 posts can post links to pics or actual pics. If actual pic files, the Mods just need to approve the post before it shows on the forum.

We do this routinely and it's never a problem. Don't let a low post count prevent you from posting pics.

Wonder why not sturgeon? We caught 59 albacore tuna on a trip and it only took 2 weeks to get all the blood off the boat.

Found it in San Diego. Sailed it here. Primary usage was fishing. Planned a trip north but never found a crew...lol.
