New Washington DC member, looking to purchase

Greetings all!

I've owned and been around small fish/ski boats over the years, but never a trawler/yacht. Largest boat i've ever had experience on was driving a tug boat while at the CG Academy 20 yrs ago (oh, and a month on that huge training ship...)

I've always dreamt of living on a boat, and the opportunity just presented itself, kind of... Looking to gain some info from y'all so I plan to post a "should I transition to liveaboard" in the general discussion forum.
