New to site, not boating!

Hello, I am the owner of a 1974 Pelagic trawler. Pelagic was a builder of commercial boats out of B.C. that built a few pleasure craft. Ours is 36 foot with a 2008 Perkins M135. We purchased the boat last year and so far have been to the South Sound, San Juan Islands and Portland Via the coast.
The boat is is terrific mechanical shape but cosmetically challenged. We are in the process of painting the bottom and topsides and doing some interior work.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. We have painted pretty much all of our boat ourselves. I did have a professional painter come in for a day and spray the hull but we did all the prep work. Keep plugging away at it and we will need some photos. Good luck with it.

Welcome to TF. Good luck with your reno. Actually, you don't really need luck - well, not much anyway - mainly stickability..!
