New owner of an old boat

Hi everyone! I am new to trawlers and ever more new to living aboard. My fiancé and I are currently renovating a 36’ Aft Cabin Cheoy Lee in New Jersey. We will be heading south at the end of the summer. On here hoping to find some information and some community. Cheers 🍻.

Welcome aboard TF
Folks always interested in seeing a plan materialize.
There are other (soon to be) couples pondering similar adventures.
I'd encourage a separate post w your Reno plans, progress, and of course pics.
Good luck w your adventures.

Congratulation, and welcome from one old boat owner to another.

How far south are you planning to head?

Welcome. Do you mind expanding on 'renevate'? We all like to see projects.

Welcome aboard. I am especially glad to see another Cheoy Lee here. We have a newer to us 40 LRC (86 vintage) which we are getting to know here in Ft Pierce, FL.

Hmmmm, are you referring to an old boat, or an old boat owner?
