new member from Nova Scotia

Hello, here we are in snowy Nova Scotia dreaming of boating weather. Had the time to sign up and hope to join some of the discussions. We have a 1979 Monk Roughwater 29 trailerable trawler which we enjoy during our oh so short season ,and dream about traveling south in a couple of years for at least one winter. I am a mechanic and have completed a number of upgrades on our old boat and still have more to do so I find the various discussions very interesting. My wife Sandra and I both like our old boat and stay onboard during every weekend that we can, when she is in the water. We will enjoy meeting fellow boaters and getting to know our way around . Regards, Gary & Sandra, Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Hi GaryV, we are sitting here in the snow as well in Ontario and I can relate. Welcome aboard. The Great Lakes make beautiful cruising from NS to, if you get the time drop in.
