C-Kip 30
Hi guys
Joined the site as i have just acquired a C-kip 30 trawler dating from 1980. Very few around.
Powered by Lehman 85 hp.

One of my early tasks is to fit an autopilot to the twin helm Capilano 250v/ Uniflo 50 installation, and finding the correct couplings etc is proving a bit of a challenge!
Looks like I may have to replace the Uniflo with a pilot check valve along the way.

Welcome to the "funny farm".
Nice looking boat.
Does one of the pilot house fwd windows open?
Hmmm, 30ft, what size engine?

Yes, the centre (center to you?) window opens with a stay to adjust the amount of opening.
Boat is in great condition, the previous owner spent over $100k on a refit, and took a big loss, to my benefit. Engine is the 4 cylinder Lehman at 85hp and has only 1300 hours. :) cruises around 6.5 knts @ 1600rpm.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new boat.

Over here in Oz, your vessel was known as the Clipper 30, and was virtually identical in every way to my Clipper 34, (also sedan type, not aft cabin), other than a shorter cockpit. They are nice boats, and great for cruising weekends etc.
What might look like part of an aft cabin in the cockpit area is actually a large insulated freezer chest.
