New Member Grand Banks
I just bought a 1973 Grand Banks 42 Classic (fiberglass). This will be my first big boat project. She was last used as a tow boat to recover damage sailboats, so the bones are generally good however cosmetically you can certainly see she was rode hard and put up wet many times.
I look forward to getting some great insights from everyone here and getting to work.
I do know that I need some rail hardware, a generator replacement, new batteries and everything associated with refinishing. This boat also has a bow and stern thruster, 24 volt
Looking forward to the adventure
Dennis

Welcome, and good luck with your projects, all of which can be better assessed with pictures.

Welcome to the Forum!
Sounds like you have taken on a lot of work, and fun, if you like that sort of thing.
Good luck
